Sashimi Quality – Highest Grade, Available Now!

I am a director of the Canadian Highly Migratory Species Foundation. Found on the website CHMSF, we are a group of tuna fishermen, processors, and exporters. Our goals are to promote Albacore Tuna in any way we can think of. At our last meeting, quality control, was discussed at great length, and a ranking criteria for this was discussed. The meeting was so long I had to leave to fill some orders.

A recurring theme was “Sashimi Quality” – this seemed to be the best description for really, really good albacore tuna, all only words. After the meetings I had a thought – that my canned tuna is the same “Sashimi Quality” that I sell to high end restaurants – meaning (a little name dropping here) C Restaurant, Araxis at Whistler, Tigh Na Mara, The Landing in Parksville, and most Comox Valley restaurants, etc. The point to this is, the fish we catch goes to restaurants as frozen loins, or in the can to you.
I am sure that this is probably the only albacore of premium Sashimi Grade that is available as a canned product!

Our old friends from Port Hardy Seafoods, Ron Gorman, will be selling our products at some of the markets I can’t fit in.
