2010 October

October 29, 2010
Our fishing season started slow, with lots of rough weather in July. After that things settled down, and we started to have good fishing, till nearly the end of September, We have fished from Newport Oregon to Cape Cook on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, with our best catches off Vancouver Island. The albacore this year were a bit bigger than usual, which makes for better tasting fish.

We have now sent many 100’s of canned tuna cases all over North America, with not one complaint! There was one minor issue with damaged cans in transit to Saskatchewan, very smelly mess in that order, we immediately sent a replacement, so all is well.

Our most repeated order is the Albacore in Olive Oil cans. Initially, customers thought it was too oily, and were hesitant to purchase. However, it only has a teaspoon added in the canning process. Those that have tasted it have given rave reviews.

Thanks to my customers, and if you feel the need to talk to a real person before ordering, I am available at any time, Bruce (250) 334-7648.
